Open Data, FAIR Data and FAIR play in research – what’s the point anyway?

Researchers are expected to operate with data according to the FAIR principles. But what does that mean in different fields and areas of study – and what is “data” in the first place? We invite experts and postdocs from various disciplines to exchange ideas on the meaning and consequences of FAIR data, open science practices and (finally) FAIR research information: What is the relevance of ideals like openness and transparency in research – not least for researchers in qualification phases?”
